Hi everyone

Does anybody know where to get practice exam papers for the plb exam at all and if you do do they have the answers as well? I'm getting ded stressed now cos im just not getting it and need loads more practice!!!

    Hi,

    Go to Assessments in the students link and review the PLB papers contained therein.

    Practice many questions and keep asking for clarification as you proceed.

    You need to master section one and ensure you balance the Trial Balance at all times. This is crucial.

    Both sections are necessary though.

    If you dnt get your Trial Balance to balance it doesn't mean that you will fail the exam it just mean that you will lose a couple of marks. I never managed to balance mine in December but I still passed, although it you do manage to balance it all the better.

    Yep me too! I was £2 out (didn't have a clue where I had gone wrong!!) My colleague was £2000 out and we both still passed the exam!

    I have been told that if your trial balance doesnt balance then create a suspense account and put whatever figure will balance it to show that if you had time you would deal with it.
