House style for correspondence?

Can anyone please tell me why encouraging the use of a house style for correspondence? Thank you!

    Hey dan

    A 'House Style' is set by each individual companies - i.e a set way of how they want a letter to be set out. It shows consistency and professionalism. It means that each piece of correspondance is of the same layout and style.
