Marginal VAT and Sage

Hi,
Wondered if someone could help?
I am doing the VAT return for a small garage that uses the marginal scheme for VAT. The problem is, how do I account for this on Sage?
Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

    There may well be a techy way of doing it, but the way that i would go about it is manually - ie net = £100 T1 VAT = £5 gross = £105. Presumably each car sale must show somewhere in the paperwork what the margin is??

    Sorry - probably not very helpful at all, but I cant think of any other way of doing it, as I dont think that Sage can cope with anything other than straight percentages.

    I was in sally's class but don't expect you would remember, although I did pop out now & then for a ciggie with you :)

    I remember you - smokers mainly gave out by technician level. Have you finished yet - and do I guess that you are working for yourself?

    I have finished now but do work fulltime as assistant management accountant and dabble in some part time accounts work at home but am only just starting up really.
    Will drop you a line as I know you have a wealth of experience from these forums and may have to call upon your expertise?
