PAYE Online Filing

Am I the only one who has found online filing a doddle this year. Last year was horrific and I resorted to hard alcohol and even harder chemical hair dye - this year two done yesterday and the other 6 done this morning without any problems.

Not often that the Government Gateway impresses me, but they have this time - long may it continue.

    Hope our payroll lady feels the same - i will find out when I'm back in the office next week. She's got 86 payrolls to file online so I hope it is a doddle!!

    I've found it more straight forward this year as well. 10 down only 35 more to go. :D

    This was the first year I've filed online and I have to say- Yes it was a doddle and how impressed I was with the Inland Revenue website.

    I work for HMRC dealing with employer filing penalties, and it is "heatwarming" to hear such a positive feedback. Must be better than our computer systems then!
