AAT merger discussion with IFA and IAB

I recently read an article about some discussions taking place between AAT, IFA and IAB on the subject of a merger. I have not come across anything about the same subject on the AAT's website or publications so far. May be it's very premature for the association to make any comment as yet.
But may be it will be interesting for the topic to become a subject for the discussion form.

    Hi there have been some articles about this in PQ and/or Pass Magazine.

    Its actually more along the lines of a 'unified' qualification rather than an actually merger, but apparently its still in an introductory discussion stage at the moment.

    Hi Neil,
    It was in the Accountancy Age.
    You're quite right in saying it is not about merger of the associations.
    It is more about creating a framework to merge the qualifications.
    I expect we'll hear more If discussions continue.
