I have an accountancy practice for sale in the North East of England.

Turnover is over 30k.

Established Business with potential for growth.

    The Business is based in South Shields, Tyne & Wear.

    The Business was purchased by myself last year and I have ran it with 2 part-time employees since June as well as being in full time employment myself.

    My idea was to build up the practice over 2 years before leaving my employment to run the practice full time.

    The practice has grown and I have been offered another job and must now decide which option to choose. This is the reason for the sale.

    The services offered are Accounts Production, VAT, PAYE, Tax Returns and the customer base is mainly sole traders and partnerships.

    Sage Accountancy Suite is the software in use.

    I have also setup networks with Local Business Development Advisors and Financial Service Advisors.

    Training could be arranged if required.

    No problem just thought I would put it on the website to see if any AAT members were interested as it's easier to go self-employed knowing you have clients rather than to start from scratch.

    Any advice on the best ways to advertise the business would be welcome.

    Hi your business is just the thing I am looking for but unfortunately in the wrong area - I am based in the midlands.

    There is a website called businesses for sale which may help you to sell for a good price. Are all your clients based in the north?

    The majority of my clients are in the North East although I do have a couple of clients throughout the country who I deal with via post.
