Hiya
Sounds like you're doing well!
My revision is coming along ok, but still have pre-exam jitters.
As a guideline, you should achieve 70% in each section of the paper in order to pass. This isn't something set my AAT rather than a guidance my tutor has given me and the rest of my class. It's difficult to assess yourself in terms of how well you're doing when completing a past paper. The exams are marked on the basis that you understand the questions and that you show you are competant.
It's a bonus if you get questions right but if you're answer is wrong for example, but you've used that answer in the correct way for another question, and you've shown your workings, you would never lose points on that expect for the original answer being wrong.
It sounds like you're pretty confident though, I would be at this stage of the game having got half of the questions right. You're 3 weeks away from doing your exam and if you continue to practice, you'll only get better - think about it that way!
Don't panic, you'll be fine!
Best of luck!0 -

Hi,
I am ok on the number crunching questions, however i am really struggling on the written/memo questions. My attempt is know where near the model answer.
I am hoping i do enough to pass.

I am the same with the memo's but my tutor's tell's me that if the numbers are correct you will still pass. i would though try and learn as much as possible about the memo's as insurance incase you get the figures wrong.0 -

this time in pq magazine the examiner says
they will consider the wordy bits this time
and my tutor says if u do only number crunching
u can not pass.0 -
Re:PEV & PCR June 2006
I feel like I can do the four main parts that seem to appear in each time, variances, flexed budgets, PI and Production budgets, and pick up marks from other parts of the paper, struggling a little with Added Value, Sub dividing of variances.
Do you think I am going ok at this stage?0 -

I am in the same situation, know 3 or 4 main parts and hoping to pick up other answers as bonus and hopefully pass, dont know if its enough though.0
