Re:past papers
There is a link on the left - assessments and then past papers... it will give the past couple of years worth of them, together with the answers.

Re:past papers
Yes our exam will be like those on this site
I hope, anyway! That's what I've been told.
Good luck

I am surprised that the person who initiated this post is actually asking for forum advice - considering the responses which they have detailed in the post I have hopefully detailed above.
perhaps Kpearson doesn't have 'knowledge m8' to quote!

Re:past papers
Well spotted Ruby.
Well, in the defence of the other students this vile individual (K Pearson) has upset with his/her comments - I hope what goes round comes round and s/he struggles on the day of his/her exam, panics and fails - like s/he wished another forum member would do. How do you like it KPearson?

Re:past papers
Way to go !!!
I'm feeling better already!!0 -
Re:past papers
reminds me of a saying in the film 'meet the fockers'
with the little kid being taught how to say a**hole !!!0 -
Re:past papers
I agree.
I'm trying really hard not to swear on a thread, but sometimes it's really difficult to exert your opinion of a tosser without swearing. My girlfriend is sat here (who isn't an accountant but has seen the threads) and keeps pressing the delete button everytime I type a swear word!!

Re:past papers
nice one Steve, i agree,
will have to remember that one when thinking about my boss!
know what you mean, my husband looks over on the threads, and either laughs with me, or groans.
he knew I was having a spate of get it off my chest earlier - and said - 'so not revising anymore then?'
the exams and the work load and the assignments are enough stress along with everyday life without a twat like that!
by the way - always read your posts - you have a lot of important stuff to hear. makes my day looking at the website - sad I know - but hey ho0 -
Re:past papers
Once again Ruby, I agree totally with you!
I had to tone my last thread down a bit but I'm sure that every reader of my post knows what I said in relation to "the fockers" and the little child!!
Anyway, I've been reading the terms and conditions and - if K Pearson's posts are anything to go by, then (according to the T&Cs) his/her IP address will be logged by the AAT. Hopefully, this will be enough to get him/her totally barred and not just have their logon name deleted. This Pearson person hacked a lot of people off on the members' forum so I suppose the AAT have to go through a sort of "disciplinary process" before they eventually "bar" you.
I've read your post about your job and that - good luck with everything.

Re:past papers
Thanks Steve,
much appreciate your kind words.
am having trouble working backwards on incomplete records at the mo. I know that assets - liabilities = capital. but found i got my answer wrong when I was looking at net asset increase in yr on yr and working out the profit attained. hopefully this weekend will be able to crack it and then can look at accounting principles/ssaps and partnerships a bit more. feel quite comfortable with the exam, just know that my luck will mean that they will put something in I'm a bit weak on
can't wait to get through and past technician !0 -

Re:past papers
K Pearson, as you are so clever, surely you shouldn't need any help finding out.

Re:past papers
Hi eveyone,
I have just read the messages from Kpearson, I think that people who are abbusive like that should be banned from using the website.
I hope everyone passes their foundation exam (apart from Kpearson) but we are allowed to make some mistakes. I have found this website very useful and everyone has been really helpful and friendly.
Think positive and you can do anything!
Good luck
Hayley
