    trade associations, companies house ( more for collation of financial data)Government statistics ie census.

    Information can be collected from primary source or secondary source. the primary one is when you carried out the marketing survey out yourself thro. feedback from customer, which sec. is from other sources which can be from
    i. national office of statistic
    ii. the trade body, other organisations

    I think that this will help you. but if I were you, I will forget about unit 7 now as you will not be test on it in the exam.

    Although it is unlikely that you would be asked an indepth question on data collation, you are expected to know in a written memo to make any recommendation on where to obtain data and its uses, particular in ratio analysis.
