Stock Questions in Exam

Hi,

Am currently revising the stock forumalas and was wondering it is likely that you will be asked to calculate the reorder quantity? The only stock questions that have been asked in the past are to identify stock method being used/complete stock card and to calculate the reorder level.

    I wish we DID know what they were going to ask us, then if it was something we were a bit weak on, we could swot up on it and be ready...! :roll:

    Hi Milkshake

    I sat the Dec 2005 paper - and if I remember correctly - we did have to calculate the reorder qunatity - correct me if I'm wrong!

    It wasn't actually in the 05 paper - I've only seen the reorder level before. It's not a very easy formula to remember or use, so I'm hoping it's not likely to come up, since I don't remember having to use it before (in the past papers or in the workbooks)

    2 cd's in the house

    h
    then hit sq root (cant find the key on my lap top)

    2 x cost x demand
    over holding cost
