BTC - Last Minute Cramming!

I am just finishing off my revision for Business Tax and want to do one last paper before tomorrow. :?:

I am having problems choosing which paper to do!

Can anyone suggest a paper that would be well suited for some last minute practice please?

    Arrgghhh this time tomorrow we will be in the middle of it!! I would do a past paper - I'm going to do both Dec 2005 and June 2005 papers today

    Thanks, I might join you in doing the two most recent ones too!

    Are you doing any other exams this week? I feel like I might of spent too much time on tax and not enough on PCR and DFS!! :roll:

    Ive got DFS on wednesday, roll on Thursday!

    Spent most of weekend concentrating on Tax, although did a couple of hours on DFS yesterday. Will be doing a last minute bit of cramming on Tax at lunchtime and again tonight, then cramming DFS tomorrow afternoon/evening!

    Fed up with revising now just want to get on and get them done!

    Well good luck in your DFS on Weds - how are you finding it? ?

    I think it is ok its just the shear amount of content, I keep forgetting the most basic of things - my brain is running out of room! hehe!

    Finding DFS not too bad. My weak point is IAS's there's just so many to remember, but hopefully I know enough to 'get me through'

    I agree. There is a lot to learn on these 2 exams my head is spinning trying to remember everything! I keep making silly mistakes on things i know - ie when I did a tax paper yesterday I did the pro rata for WDA on private/business use, but it was a car >£12,000 and I forgot to limit to £3000 even though I know you do that - FRUSTRATING!

    I know what you mean!

    I am forever making silly mistakes like that, or for example, when a car has private use of say 20% I forget to show that in my allowances column and just carry the full amount over! Whoops!

    We should be ok in the exam though - you are able to concentrate more in there so hopefully the silly mistakes won't happen!

    i am in the same boat as both of you and keep doing the same mistakes aswell - fingers crossed we'll be fine tommorrow. :lol:
