Hello everyone and good luck for those doing Foundation PLB tomorrow.

Is everyone finding the past papers too easy when doing the double entry but a bit difficult when have to answer to the questions?

Any feedback on how to get around the questions is more than welcomed...

    Yes I find the past papers section 2 harder. Maybe because you can't practice these as much? Each one is totally different.

    Hi,

    I am exactly the same as you, I can do the trial balance but the few questions they ask you about contra journals and things I find quite difficult. I think I know how to do the bank reconciliations.

    First of all Good Luck for tomorrow.

    I always found it that I found Section One the hardest and Section Two easier. (Each to their own though!)

    Hello all,

    still crappin maself bout tomorrow but the past papers have been a GOD SEND! :D

    I gotta agree section 2 i keep slipping on the questions. . . section 1 i can get my TB to balance first time :(

    Maybe your right its because tutors cant practise this as much!!

    I sat the papaer three times and I still never got the Trial Balance to Balance.
    But I passed it 3rd time lucky!! But I'd had never revised when I first sat the exam then the second time I hadn't been long out of hospital!!

    Hi everyone,

    Good luck tomorrow I hope it will be similar to the past papers!!!!

    Im ok on the first section as you know that something is wrong if you cant balance!!!

    But I also find the second part harder as ypu dont know what will come up!!!

    I just hope that wages control account wo'nt come up or I will be stuffed!!

    have been practicing the papers since i started college and they seem to get easier i even written my own questions on payroll and variences ( my tutor said that variences would not be in the exam ) but hay i'm prepared. read through your book and put it into questions thats how i did it. does that help?

    If you check the last edition of the accounting technician mag you get sent there something in there about wages control . . my tutor tells me that hints 100% it will come up :(
