I have done the PEV exam today, and think I have failed it, if I wanted to go onto CIMA in September would I have had to pass all the Tech Exams? Or would I be able to go on and resit in december the PEV?

you need to pass the full AAT course before you can claim your exemptions. you cant use your exemptions until you pass AAT, so i suppose if you do fail (which im sure you wont) you cant claim your exemptions and i suppose you would have to wait until the resit.

Im in the same position as you, if i hear anything else i will let you know.
but dont worry, im sure we will all be fine

    Hi

You can register when you like but you wont be able to sit the managerial exams until you have your exmeptions from the certificate in business accounting.

    Hi

Before you can attempt papers at the Managerial (middle) stage of CIMA you need to have passed or been exempt from the certifcate (first) stage of CIMA.

    yes, you do, thats correct

i suppose any college would take your money and let you study, but you cant actually enter for exams until your exemptions have been confirmed :)
