In the consolidated balance sheet, was good will just the full figure, it wasn't to be written off was it?
It said that good will is not impaired or something so i didn't do anything with it just stuck it straight in my consolidated balance sheet...?

Re:DFS Goodwill
Goodwill is not depreciated and the text stated that there would be no impairment, so £3958 was reported as an intangible asset in the balance sheet.0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
Yep, it was the full figure, as the note said that it is not to be impaired?
Did you get round figures for your section 2.1? Cos I did?0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
Waht you mean for the ratio's? My figures looked alright....0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
I got thrown with the impaired things but yes it doesn't amortise and the figure (3958) goes under your non-current assets (how silly does that sound, really?)0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
I meant that I got round figures, and not decimal placed ones.0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
Does anyone remember any of their other figures for 1.1 such as minority interest, post acquisition profits and retained earnings etc? I agree with Petrol Monkey's calculation for the goodwill but mine just wouldn't balance today! Not sure what I did wrong...
Think I did ok on everything else though.0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
The question said not to impair the goodwill0 -
Re:DFS Goodwill
