    Did the MOS slightly wrong myself - divided it by BE not budgeted. Should have been the Budgeted less BE, this being 5000 - 3165 = 1835 / 5000 = 36.7%. For 6000 it was 6000 - 3165 = 2835 / 6000 = 47.25%.

    Hope to get a couple of marks for getting the 1835 and 2835 :?:

    This was the only one I got wrong on sect 2 - I think.

    Did everyone get £3.65 for the contribution? £6 (SP) less VC (0.25 + 0.6 + 1.5)

    Wasn't happy with my 1.6 answer where we calculated the batch price with full and marginal. Got something like 1700 for marginal and 2500 for full.

    Again this is the only one i'm not happy with in this section. Unless i've missed something?

    The journals and reapportionment were quite straight forward, NBV for Depr, Floor space for Rent & Heat/Light, Power by the 2 production areas, labour was allocated - I think.

    Wages took me a while. Task b I put the OT premium and the idle/training time as indirect. Think there was £81 OT premium and £45 (5 hrs) idle/training. So it was 47 hours direct - £423 and £126 indirect.

    Can't remember the exact figures, but I think Halifax's were petty much what I had. I didn't put OT down as indirect labout costs though - oh well, can't see there being too many marks lost if it was wrong.

    Glad I don't have FRA to do this afternoon :)

    Damn think I mucked up on the OAR question I originally had £580 etc but then changed it, cause I thought the answers looked weird. I guess I thought I knew how to do the OAR formula but was wrong.

    You allocate Lighting and heating by floor area

    I found the costing paper ok after the shock of having to thimk about the first question. Got FIFO pretty quickly tho'.
    My problem is the memo at the end. I said to do an IRR report b4 making a decision as we had a positive + a negative result from the other 2 reports. I thought I would play it safe but wish I hadn't now. I don't think they can fail me for that but I wish I'd gone with my gut instinct of no. Never mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!
