If a computer is used by an employee at home and less than £2,500 it does not qualify as a benefit in kind so.......
If the computer costs £3,000 is it the (£3,000 x 20%) £600 that counts as a benefit in kind or the £600-£500= £100?
Is this just computers this rule relates to?
Thanks in advance

Hi Em.
It's £600 - £500 = £100

Thanks Scotty,
Is it just for computers? What if it was another item would it be the whole amount or just the difference over £100?

Hi Em.
It is only for computers.
Remember to pro-rate benefits if not held for twelve months.
