Wages once passed AAT Tech

Hi All,

Does anyone know what sort of wages to expect once finished the AAT Technician? I am on an ok salary but dont really want to be selling myself too short once I have passed! I know that it changes regarding where you live and the industry your in and basically how nice your boss is.

P.S Hope everyone that has sat exams this June does really well and passes. Fingers crossed.

    There is no definitive answer to your question. There is a salary guide on the Hays Personnel website.

    It depends on your experience to date. Passing Technician is only one of the factors to take into account. 8)

    It will obviously depend on a number of factors, however since I started out on the Foundation level in 2003 I have doubled my salary just prior to completion of Technician.

    The Accounting Technician magazine used to give salary ranges for different sectors. The job advertisements in the back fo the mag will give you an idea for varying locations.

    I think a PQ magazine had salaries for areas but i think that was a few months ago
