Re:ACCA Pass
How have you just got your results?? They're not out until August 21st. Did you take the 3 subjects in December?

Re:ACCA Pass
As I am desperately waiting for my results I can promise you they come out on 21st August! It annoys me as I took my exams before AAT sat theirs but the results come out a week later

Re:ACCA Pass
Maybe Nicola has just sat internal exams at Uni and passed. ACCA will never issue results early.
Either that or Nicola has only just opened her results from the December sitting!!

Re:ACCA Pass
Hi
If Nicola is doing her ACCA at a Uni, they may be running an internally assessed course. This basically means the course/syllabus is the same as the ACCA papers but the ACCA have approved the uni to mark the papers themselves and then forward the details to the ACCA.
FTC operate some such courses for part 1 papers.

Re:ACCA Pass
Does that mean they have actually passed the papers and are therefore a substitute to the formal ACCA exams or are these in addition to the ACCA exams. I have done ACCA but have never heard of this type of scheme before.

Re:ACCA Pass
Hi,
The uni I go to used to internally mark the papers of the students on the full time course but they were marked externally for part timers.
Now the course is only part time and the papers are sent away to be marked.
I am waiting for 1.3 and 2.1 with my fingers crossed.
Regards,

In reality they are a substitute for the ACCA papers, the ACCA having caried out quality assurance on the college. The London College of Accountancy (www.londoncollege.org/courses/internal.html) run such a course for the part 1 exams.
