What kind of softwares are commonly use for project writing these days? Which one is the best?

    I used microsoft word. There are some report templates you can use, but I just created my own using the project guidance on this site.

    Use whatever software you are comfortable with - the project is a big enough nightmare without the added pressure of trying to learn a new software programme as well.

    It that any difference between Microsoft word and Microsoft work word processor? They are quite different between the Ecxel and Spreadsheet.

    Works is more basic than word. You have less functions, but either would do. You just need to number each section, and each paragraph within that section so that if Strengths and Weaknesses is your Section 5, then each paragraph will be 5.1, 5.2 and so on. Can't remember if works has a spellchecker or a word count, which I did find useful in word!
