I have just finished intermediate and will be starting technician in september. However i have just found out on of my tutors is the most disliked tutor around and having had him last week for 2 hours teaching me reports and returns i can see why. I have been told since that as i have argued with him (how to fill in a vat return properly) he will now pick on me in class, don't get me wrong i will stand up for myself but obviously don't want to jeopardise my course. Any ideas as to how i can deal with this please.

Re:Any Advice
Hi
If it were my I would look at it from the point of view of being a customer of the college and as such any tutor should be treating students/customers with due respect. A few years back I wouldnt have said boo to a goose but nowadays I'd stand up to a lecturer.
I'd do the course and at the first point of trouble take it up with the college, perhaps in the first instance with the lecturer. You can also make a complaint to the AAT. If he has a reputation for this then other students will probably feel the same and a group complaining about a lecturer is always going to have more affect so see if one or two others would be prepared to make a joint complaint.

Thanks
I'd kinda figured on that however cannot take it up with the college as it is a private training centre and he owns it. As you say i will take it as it comes, thanks0 -
Re:Any Advice
Hi
In that case, you may want to go directly to the AAT. Again, it would help if other students would support the claim too.
Is he the sole proprietor?
