how many study hours

Hi,

I am studying for diploma certificate through distance learning ,can any one tell how many hours I need study on an avg per week.I am planning to give my exams in Dec this year.
I have no experience in the accountancy field.

    I am not sutdying the diploma route so I am not totally sure, but i feel you cannot put a set amount of hours on how long you need to study.

    Everyone learns at different speeds so you basically would need to study for however long it takes you to learn and understand!! This may be 4 hours a week but may be 20 - I couldn't say!!

    If you have no accounting experience (I didn't when I started foundation) it will probably take you longer than someone with previous knowledge of accounts as you will need to learn the basics. However sometimes it can be easier as you will not be questioning what you are learning as you do not know any other way to do things!!
