Just found out i failed PEV again!!!! Passed DFS and PCR but failed PEV...im sooo gutted, i thought i did ok in it!!!! :(

    Hi

    Well done for passing DFS and PCR that is a brilliant achievement and try to hang onto that thought because they are all nasty exams. It will come good in the end. :)

    I'm studying PEV at the moment and should be taking my exam in December. I'm finding it really slow-going.

    Does anyone pass it first time - I'm already regretting opting for it! 8)

    I passed all my exams first time. I did find every single exam difficult to study for, what with working full time and having kids to look after, but you just focus on passing, not focus on how difficult it is. if you start with negative thoughts (i.e. i will NEVER understand this etc) then the chances of success are slim.

    Everyone struggles at some point or another, it cant be too easy otherwise the qualification would not be held in such high regard.

    Keep studying, take plenty of breaks, and focus on passing not failing.

    I have now passed my final two PEV and PCR, and am going onto CIMA in September.

    I'm gutted too, everyone seems as though they have passed and not many people seem to have failed.

    If it makes you feel any better most people who come on to tell people will have passed. Theres not many ppl with the guts to stand up and admit their failings. So good for you! I failed PTC this time round, but it has made me more determined for december

    I'm sorry to hear that you've failed.

    I did pass PEV, but only after I spent a day in one of Sandy Hood's revision classes. Before that I didn't have a clue and could not get my head around it at all. I would recommend something like that to anyone who can get to one - the money was very very well spent in my eyes.

    Keep going with it, you will get there.

    Now the biggest question is, do i go back to college and relearn that unit or just study at home and enter for the exams???mmmmmm decisons decisions....

    Had some good news today though, i got a 2nd interview for a job i really want..good thing it doesnt depend on me passin all my exmas :wink:

    Good luck with the interview.......

    Dont beat yourself up about failing 1 in 3

    I also did PCR, PEV and DFS I managed to pass all three somehow, but was worried as i felt like i didnt have enough time to prepare doing 3 in 4 days. I would have been happy with 2 out of 3.
    With only one exam to resit it will be a doddle !
