Passing Technician

Congratulations to everyone who passed!!!! :lol::lol:

I was wondering, do you automatically become a full member once you have passed the technician level. My fees are due as a student but I'm unsure whether to pay them or wait for the full membership fees. Does anyone else have this problem?

    You don't automatically become a full memeber unless you can prove 12 months relevant work experience. This also needs to be signed off by someone in a more senior position than yourself and can vouch for the experience in a working capacity.

    However you can use the letters AAT after your name straight away.

    With regards to student membership fees if you pay your student fee then qualify you won't pay another full fee, just the top up to membership status.
