Firstly I passed my final AAT paper so am now able to apply for full membership - woohoo!!!

However, now that I am qualified I want to know what I am worth. I have tried accessing Hays website in regards to salary survey but it is now all available on cd-rom and you have to send off for it.

Does anyone know what the average salary is in East Midlands for AAT technician (newly qualified) who has 6 years work experience in accounts? I work for a manufacturing company in the automotive industry

    Last I heard the average salary for an AAT Technician was £18,000.

    This varies greatly though, there are some people on £12,000 but one of our accountants who is only AAT qualified is on £26,500.
