my advie would be to stick ay it and pratice lots and also take it steady

it just takes a lot of hard work from yourself but overall its a step up from foundation but if you work at it its not too bad my advise on fra unit5 is to make sure you get good with an extended trial balance and seen as you have done foundation that will really help with all the double entry stuff

Hi there,

I started on Intermediate and there were a few things that I needed to know from foundation that I was able to pick up and I passed both exams.

I dont think you have any thing to worry about. What I found most helpful was coming home and working on that bit of past exam papers that we had learnt that day. Dont try to do all the exam paper as you will just panick, just do the bit you have learnt. That was how I practiced and its always good to do it whilst it is fresh in your mind. You have the advantage of using the answer sheet on line to see if you are on the right path. I actually learn back to front by working with the answers first and working backwards.

I was rubbish on the FRA up until the last few weeks prior to the exam. Then I found a way of teaching myself formulas as to how to remember what goes where on the ETB. You are more than welcome to have a copy of my study notes. They might not work for you but they might give you an idea of learning in a way that you can remember. They are notes only and will seem very foreign at the moment, but by Xmas, a lot of it should make sense, but you are more than welcome to them.
