Do appendices count towards the 4 to 5000 word total or not?

Have some material I'd like to add but if total words are included it'll blow my word count completly so may have to take snapshots of info instead.

    No, appendices are not included in the word count.

    I thought the word count was 3000 to 4000 - that's what my project was and has been signed off? :roll:

    I think that some tutors are more lenient than others on the word count :lol: though I doubt that any tutor would be sad enough to count the actual number of words - just gut instinct about number of pages etc - so probably a bit of flexibility between say 2,500 - 5,000 words!

    Its friday and I'm just going to have a little moan.

    I started my project in february but I am still plodding along and update it whenever I got a minute.

    I so wished AAT did an exam like CAT on this subject because I can see this is going to be the last unit for me to do.

    Just got my PEV re-sit at xmas and thats it.... :lol:

    Does anyone have the same opinion?!

    I agree Nick, I have been forced to do mine really as I have just the budget unit of AAT left to do and I am starting CIMA also next week so I need to pass the whole AAT qualification to sit the CIMA exams in May, so if I do not get project signed off then I will not get the full qualifiaction and not sit exams.

    I agree on it been tedious, I really struggled with it and it did take me over 12 months to complete, I am at last handing the final thing in on Monday and hoping there are not too many alterations
