Hi can anyone help me? I am so confused, starting technician in September I know we have three exams but which ones are they can we pick which ones we want to do or are they compulsary.

    HI Alyson

    DFS, PCR and PEV are all compulsory are central exams to be taken in June or December. You also have to do the project and is always worth getting out the way. You can then chose from Audit (skills test), Cash Management (skills test), Personal tax (exam) or business tax(exam). It will depend on what you prefer to do or what the college offers to do.

    Have a look in the student section in Assesment and exam support and that details everything.

    Hi Eva,
    Thanks for replying, it was when I looked at the exam entry form for december It had so many exams on it for technician level I got confused. What about the DFSL & DFSC exams are they optional ones you can do if you want to?

    DFSC and DFSL are for those taking the Central or Local Government versions of this unit. The standard DFS is for industry and commerce (IAC) which I guess is the one most people will do.
