Its quite scary!!

Blimey :-o - i have just received all the relevant books and study material for the home Study course with FTC and its quite scary to look at! I havent read through any of it yet but at the moment i have not got a clue where to start!! Anyone else felt the same? Anyone got any tips?

    It can look scary when it all arrives, but if you take a deep breath you will be fine!

    I remember when mine arrived and I thought 'what on earth have I done?'.

    It will all fall into place and you'll soon get into it - honest!

    Oh I can relate to that completely!! When my books arrived from FTC last week I just looked at them and thought 'what the hell have I let myself in for?!' But hey, less than a week and I'm trying to get my head round (will I ever understand debits and credits?!!) Good luck ...

    If I was you I'd start with unit 3.. that's what the exam is on.

    Except that you do really need an understanding of Units 1 and 2 before doing number 3.

    I started with Unit 4 as it essentially covers what I do at work, and it is the most 'stand alone' of the 4. I do the non accounting units alongside the others, so I do not have them all to do at the end.

    Oh - and I remeber that feeling, too. 8)
