Hi All,
I am half way through my project. I am writing the report for my current employers. I am suggesting automating a current accounting process.
I have found a new job, which is not within an accounting environment. I don't think I will be able to complete this before I leave therefore would I need to start another project as I have changed jobs/roles? And my current employers will not be able to sign this off?
And if so would I need to do an AAT simulation?
Any suggestions would help.
Thanks
Nick

Re:Unit 10 Project
Can you not ask your current employers to sign it off, even though you will have left - after all it might be to their benefit to have had a report done for free!
It would be a shame to have to start again
but yes if you could not get the project signed off you would need to do the simulation.
Have you spoken to your tutor about it? They might have a bright idea

Re:Unit 10 Project
I was in the same situation as you, my previous employers signed my report off before I left as I had done the work but not finished writing the final draft, and college phoned my ex employers to confirm I had implemented the procedures prior to leaving. College then also wrote an additional statement to satisfy AAT that I had done the work and they were happy to pass it.
As Claudia says ask them, as long as you aren't leaving on a bad note I don't see what the problem would be.
