Is it essential to complete a porfolio to get your certificate? I have just my project to complete as passed my last exam last year. I have thrown out all my previous AAT work including assessments etc,. (stupid I know) so how will I do the portfolio without them?
Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

Re:Portfolio-help!!
You don't need a portfolio at technician level. The only paperwork in addition to your exams is your project.

Re:Portfolio-help!!
Hi
Just a thought with your portfolio, I thought they had to be kept for a certain length of time as the
AAT can ask to see them at anytime to confirm everything is as it should be. Even at Technician level you may have two Sims if you did the Cash Management and Credit Control and the Auditing options.
I know my old college told us no to throw anything away.0 -
Re:Portfolio-help!!
I agree
I did have a portfolio at technician although all it contained was my project, the cash and credit sim and the health and safety top up questions.
If you do the sims there may be a question which was not covered by the skills test but it's fair to say that the portfolio is fairly empty compared to the other levels.

Re:Portfolio-help!!
Does the portfolio need to be shown to anyone to complete the Technician level and for me to go onto ACCA? If so I am stuffed.....
I know throwing it away was silly - it was not intentional, just one of the things that got put in the wrong pile whilst moving.....0 -

Good question balmykat - I'm not overly sure if you actually need to submit your portfolio to get your certificate/full membership either. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
