I am due to sit PEV and PCR in December. Am I right in thinking they are very similar?

    PEV and PCR are quite similar and overlap in places. It is really worth studying them both together.

    I studied PEV and PCR together at college and it wasn't until about the sixth lesson that the class realised the split!

    It is easier to study the two together as there is quite an overlap between the two. There are a few formulas that you have to master and if you can get them dracked for PEV then PCR will be a breeze.

    Hi,

    Any chance you could give us a hint of what formulas we will need to master!! :D
    I have just started studying both, ready for the December exams and any help would be very much appreciated!!

    The formulas to try to remember are the capacity, volume and efficiency ratios. I found them hard to remember to start with and kept getting them mixed up, so I gave them funny links to help me remember!

    I did the same - but there isn't really a short-cut, you have to keep at it and then it suddenly clicks - honest!
