TECHNICIAN LEVEL - WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT??

I have just completed Intermediate level and been successful in my June exams. Can anyone please tell me what Technician level is all about??

    Its about Accountancy.
    Building on what you have learned in Intermediate

    DFS - Drafting Financial Statements, consolidated Income statements and Balance sheets to international accounting standards, an extension to FRA

    PTC - Personal Tax Computations, tax calculations, basic tax returns, capital gains, shares, and pensions tax treatments

    PEV - Performance enhancement of value, an extension to ECR, lots of formulas!

    PCR - Budgeting, usually studied with PEV due to crossover, more ratios in this one

    CMCC - Portfolio based, cash management, shares and securities also studied

    These are only the 5 i took / (am taking) There is also business tax, and auditing options, but I believe 5 must be achieved to gain full exemptions from professional qualifications.

    Oh I almost forgot, there is also the 4000 word MAS report.

    DFS, PEV, PCR and the project are compulsory then two of the following - BTC, PTC, CMCC and Auditing.

    Some people (don't know how) do it in one year, most though take 2 years.

    To be honest Im re sitting Personal tax and PCR at xmas, so hopefully I will be finished by xmas!

    I'm hoping to be finished within 15 months. If my appeal goes me way, I only have one re-sit (DFS).

    Wow! We had to do it in 8 months, day release...
