Bursar Post

Hi

I have just spotted the most perfect bursar post that I would like to apply for, but have got the job description back and I can do most of the job except you have to find funding for the business - for which I have no knowlege and cannot access the training until the next financial year (budget constraints).

Any advice on how to apply for the post would be gratefully appreciated.

    Hi Eva.

    Be honest, list all your strengths and admit you do not have experience in raising funding, but are happy to learn and looking forward to the new challenge.

    If you get an interview have a really good search through google for funding for schools - also see if you can talk to someone else in a similar position - yellow pages should help - to try and get ideas.
