I am starting to do a book keeping servive for a couple of small businesses in my area. Is there some sort of insurance that I need to take out, and if so can you recommend any companies that I could contact.

    Hi Camille.

    The AAT do a group insurance if your turnover is below a certain limit (£5,000, i believe).

    Contact them and ask.

    Go to the members section - then members in practice - and then professional indemnity insurance.

    PII is essential before you do any work for anyone!
