diploma study material

hey
just wondering if anyone can help me, I was studying with ftc via distance learning through the diploma pathway, i've complete the foundation exam and i'm now looking to start the next level, would it be possible for me to buy just the study material alone or do u have to register with a tuition provider like ftc, if i just purchased the study material how would i go about doing the skill tests, where would i be able to sit them?

i would appreciate any help

    HI Harms, I am also studying with FTC via diatance learning on the diploma course, as far as I know FTC dont sell skill tests alone, you can buy the FTC books direct from them, but you would miss out on the study guides/progress tests etc and ofcourse tutor assistance.
    I have completed FRA?ECR at the Jun06 sitting and I am working my way through Unit 31, Professional Ethics and Cash Management & Credit Control.

    thanx, i decided to purchase the whole unit, hopefulli sit the two advanced certificate exams in june 07, how you finding the course? r u currently working in an accounts role? i'm finding it really difficult to find a position accounts related.

    Hi Harms, well I am a Chemistry grad currently working in the pharmaceutical industry and I too am finding it difficult to find an accounts role, as are many others but keep trying

    I am doing the FRA and ECR on distance learnibg can you tell me when they send out the Mock Exam papers for these,also I have done the simulations for both professional ethics and Cash management and credit control the latter was ok but Professional ethics I found was bouring I feel asleep doing the Simulation.     Hi John how long did it take you to prepare for Pro Ethics, they send the mock exams abt 3 weeks before the actual exam.

    It took me about twoo weeks to prepare for the Pro ethics I done all my Simulations first and left myself around 3 to 4 moths for exams in December.

    2 weeks for pro ethics hows many hours a day were u studying?

    6 and a half hours a day Mon to Friday and a bit longer saturday and sunday.
