Got job, Starting Intermediate, A few questions.

Hello all,

I have got a job now as an assistant accountant in 'industry'.

I have started intermediate AAT and have a exam (FRA) in December.

How many other exams do I have?

And also which are the best revision books to buy?

BPP or Osborne? (not sure if there are any others)

    first congrats on the job

    iused osbourne books for fra and found them to be very good you can order them from the psbourne books website too.

    you will have a simulation to sit for fra too which is a test

    then in june you will do ecr which is costing and sit a n exam and simulation for that (im presuming your not doing the diploma path)

    there is also a another small unit on reports which has a simulation unit 7 i think

    my advise for fra is to keep practicing and keep at the extended trial balance and make sure you get your head around accruals, deprciation, prepayments and stock cards

    hope some of that helps you and if you put the work in you'll find its not that scarey

    and if your working in accounts fra will be useful for you
