Is anyone else a tiny bit worried about the Dec FRA exam? I've only had one lesson so far on fixed assets and depreciation and I'm slightly concerned about it only being 2 months till the exam!!

    yep. im very worried. my tutor doesnt seem to be though. oh well. iv taken to working through the books doing a little bit each day.

    Yeah im worried to, you dont know how to download a practise exam paper by any chance do you???

    Hi

    to download past papers go to the student members home page, choose assesments from the left hand side, then choose past papers. From here you can download past exams and suggested answers.

    Yes, really glad I am not the only one.


    I am doing distance learning and taking both exams in December (FRA and ECR). I have still 4 chapters to study for FRA and I have not even started on the ECR book.

    Many of the chapters at this level though seem to be a revision of the subjects studied at the foundation level but much more in depth.

    Do not panic, just put in as many hours as you can and we will all be okÒ€¦ or I hope so at leastÒ€¦ but I am getting worried too.

    I would imagine if you are going to college everything should be under controlÒ€¦

    I'm REALLY REALLY worried, i have 8 lessons to go untill my exam and i havnt got my head round what we have done in the past 3 weeks yet!! Guess its going to take a lot of hard work and dedication, a lot more than ive put in so far!! I will on here a lot looking for help and advice thats for sure!!

    Hiya my exam is in June next year, but I have to do both the exams in June, the FRA and ECR. I'm not too sure if that is better, at least you guys can get one exam out of the way and then concentrate on the other.

    Yeah I've had 2 workshops and one more to go before the exam! * myself are not the words to describe it!! I really dont think I'll be passing in Dec!!

    Im so glad there are more people that feel the same as me.. We've been doing something new each lesson just seems as we havent had no time to learn anything.. I do an hour each day in my lunch and it still isnt sinking in. Got my skills test in 3 weeks too.. Scary stuff!!!

    Ah it's nice to know I'm not the only one who feels unprepared. This will be my 3rd time of taking FRA!
    I just want to get it finished up. :?
    I always seem to have problems with the trial balance, I can never get it to balance in the exam.

    I felt much the same way at time last year. We did FRA in three months and it is hard going. All I can say is that you really do have to put the hours in and practice, practice, practice. It'll all sink in eventually (hopefully).

    Oh my goodness!!!!

    We had our lesson on incomplete records today and I SO don't feel prepared for the exam!!!! It's like 7 weeks Wednesday just gone!! :shock:

    hi yeah I'm really worried too. The pace is just so fast and does not seem much time left b4 exams and still lots to cover. I did 8 hours of ETB ?'s yesterday. I'm still not sure one is right.

    at least we all in same position!

    Hiya.
    I don't know where you guys live but I've just been emailed about a FRA revision course.

    The classes will be in Croydon or Barking, a specific place given when the numbers are set but will inform you two days before the class. The classes are normally on Fridays (6.00 - 9.00pm) and saturdays (10.00am - 4.00pm).
    The start date will be in 3rd and 4th November up until the 1st and 2nd December 2006. The fees are £50 and you need to attend for two Friday sessions or one Saturday session.

    I'm seriously considering going. Anyone else?

    Sounds like a good call. Too far for me though as I am in Midlands area.

    Has anyone recieved their Nov AAt mag yet? As my tutor said it will have some good FRA tips in.

    Hi Manuela,

    Just want to say thanks so much for kinda putting my mind at ease. I am also studying through distance learning and taking the exams in December. I have just finished studying for FRA and still have to do the ECR book as well. It's nice to know that I am not the only one who is quite behind. I am trying to do a practise paper now and I just cant seem to do it and I am getting all nervous which isnt helping much. I am studying with FTC, what bout you? I really need a proper teacher to help me.
