I am stuck on a cashflow question our tutor has given us, but I don't know what to ask without posting all the info on here!
Basically, I think I am messing up the non-current assets as the figure was on the debit side in the cost account when I did the t-account. I am not sure what to post in the cashflow statement.
I don't know if anyone can help, but if you can, I need you!

Re:Cashflow help
The only way I could work these out was to ask myself each time, 'what is happening to my money?'. For example, if I have paid tax I deduct it from the cashflow statement. Do you know whether there have been any purchases or disposals of assets? You need to deduct the cost of acquisitions and make any adjustments for profit or loss on disposals. My biggest mistake every time was to add the acquisitions, forgetting that they cost the company money and therefore reduce cashflow! :oops:0 -

Re:Cashflow help
The mystery is solved! At the top of the two columns of figures, the years have been typed on the wrong way around! So the c/f and b/f didn't make sense.0 -
