Hi All
does anyone have any notes , ideas of how to remember all the accounting standards for the DFS exam , eg IAS 1 is.......

    Hi

    I am also finding the accounting standards hard to remember. I'm trying to at the moment find the ones that might be asked most but not having much luck!

    Any help appreciated!

    I gave them all silly names that meant something to me - eg 1 was the sun as it was the basics and everything went round it.

    I particularly liked no. 12 - dig and delve as that's what the tax man does!

    I used the numbers in the standards and compared them to squad numbers for my team

    eg IAS7 - cashflows = (7)Harry Kewell

    I know thats a bit sad but it works believe me.
