HELP PLEASE - SHARES

Can anyone help please on the following question

. The authorised share capital of the company, all of which have been issued consists of ordinary shares with a nominal value of £1.00

. The company paid an interim divident of .20p per share during the year, A final divident has not yet been proposed.

The T/B has a figure (prior to the above workings) of £500 in Share Premium

Can anyone assist with the answer.

    My humble apologies, the question I had was do I use any of this information to adjust the original figures in the T/B. The statement says that 'a final dividend has not yet been proposed'

    Hi There,
    i don't think you need do adjustment for the orginal T/B from the information been given, if we know the final dividend ,maybe there will be adjustment for current liablity on the balance sheet ,otherwise i can not see why need do adjustment,am i right or am i wrong?

    Re my share query, apparently the tutor gave us the homework but forgot to mention that we would not need to do an adjustment for the shares because it says in the question that the final dividend has not yet been proposed.

    Sorry for any confusion I have caused but thanks to you both for trying to help me.
