Has anyone ever used the above company or one similar, which charges a fee to let you tender for a job advertised on their site. You must register with them and buy credits, then when you see a person or company advertising for an accountant on their site you can tender for the job (along with 4 other accountants)and pay for the privilege with the credits you have bought. If anyone has any experience of obtaining work in this way can you advise.

    I have used a similar site called contractsandservices.co.uk and I would not recommend it.

    The potential clients that use the site will usually pick the cheapest offer and you can gauge very little about the client from the description.

    I think the concept is good, but I am not a believer in competing on price when it is so easy to compete on quality of service in this industry.

    Yes I saw this and registered. Got some free credits which I used and tendered for a job. Don't know if I'm going to get it but I have a meeting with the advertiser next week. So I'm pretty pleased with it!!

    From the point of view of the site - I think the idea is to have some kind of customer feedback system like ebay so it won't just be the cheapest quote that wins the day - but the firm with the best reviews.
