Self Employed

Just enquiring about the prospect of going self employed, I am completing my final taxation exams in December 06 and with a young family to look after I was looking to start working for myself.......

Has anyone any ideas as to how far I can go? Where I can take my career by going self employed etc. I do have work experience as an assistant accountant for a small company. But its slow and could do with the extra cash doing it in my spare time...

    There are hundreds of posts on this topic - have a trawl through the forums, you will find lots of valuable advice.

    Hi caroline... would be great if you could let me know if you received any good advice about starting up alone.
