HELP!!!!!!!!

Hi Everyone!!!

My exam is 2 weeks today and I still haven't grasped the double entry!!

I have had a look at other posts and have found them very useful especially the one started by toadface - thank you very very much! - but the information doesn't sink in, I get a grasp of it but if I look away or go away to think about it my brain goes blank!!!

Any tips on an easy way of remembering it for the exam for the entries for both purchases and sales in the control account and the main ledger and the subsidiary accounts!!! Im so sorry but I am seriously panicking now!! I have kind of got the pearls bit but is that rule for the control account or the main ledger???? or are they both the same! oh im confused...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Hi i have found that Frank Wood's book is genius at helping with double entry. It can be found at waterstones etc, i cant remember the exact version. It has a large apple on the front and is orange white and green. It costs about £30 but is well worth it!

    Hi Robert,

    What level are you? You seem to be posting in more than one NVQ level? By my guess you are either Technician level or you have passed the whole thing. Am I right?
