Can anyone help me. I have a devolved assement at college in December and I am seriously worried. I don't seem to understand a word the tutor is saying. Has anyone some notes on this section that might help e.g. easy way to learn formulas and how to write reports. My tutor has a habit of telling us just to read the etx book which is most unhelpful!!! Does nayone else have this problem??? :?: :?: :?: :oops:

    The only way to learn formulas is to keep writing them out and applying them to actual questions.

    They are my worst nightmare - but I know that if I keep at, they do sink in.

    I don't think there are shortcuts. You will have to just keep trying.

    I found writing them out regularly really did help.

    That's what I've done - memorized them by writing them down over and over and over again. Then the first thing I'm going to do when I start the exam is go to a working page and write them all down so I can use them for reference rather than trying to remember them all the way through.

    Good luck in the exam in 12 days! Argh!
