Clearance letters - revisited

A while ago Jodie asked how long was acceptable to wait for previous accountants to send clearance letters.
I have now been waiting for over 3 weeks for a FCA to reply to me
Can I report him
I know that no-one likes losing clients, but it is a fact of life.
Also, has anyone got any strong words that I can politely say, as I intend to send him a fax.

Re:Clearance letters - revisited
I've STILL not got a reply to one of the letters from when I posted that post! to be fair the previous accountant had done very little work for the client (hence why he wanted to find someone new!) so in the end I gave up chasing her. She was charging £90 an hour & the client asked me to stop chasing her as he was worried she'd bill him for answering my letters!
I don't know what to suggest you put in your fax though - whatever I said obviously didn't work

Re:Clearance letters - revisited
We generally write again asking for a response because Chartered Accountancy Practices do have a professional obligation to provide appropriate clearance information requested in a clearance letter.

Cheers Steve - that is exactly the type of thing I was after - a polite of way of saying pull your finger out
Now my big dilemma - sleep or cricket tonight - a tough one!

No contest Claudia - sleep
I may be from Yorkshire but have never got into cricket.

I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to multi-task on that one

As in one would induce the other

See Claudia's gone, so she's made her choice.
Good night, sleep tight (make sure the bed bug don't bite) as my granddad used to say.0 -

I'm just jelous really! I'd actually rather be watching cricket than trying to wade through crummy greasy receipts from 2002...

Lovely.... not :!:
Greasy caff or fish & chip shop?
Once did books for a pub, I could tell they had arrived as soon as I opened the office door
Mind you we could never decide if it was stale ciggie smoke or stale food :?
Must go - son has informed me his alarm will go off at 6am,and I still haven't found a way of sleeping through it.

Thought I could have radio on and sleep - not good multi-tasking at all
