Don't be daft - of course not!! LOL!

I feel better about it now than at the weekend, but I know I've got some gaps in knowledge which could easily be exposed.

    Good luck everyone! :D x

I am feeling ok but make silly mistakes. I have been at it now for 6 hours and its getting hard to focus now!

I am doing mine over 2 years so this is the only exam for me which makes it a bit easier

    Re:pcr exam

I've only had 2 days study on this due to leaving it so late it's unbelievable (luckily I've already done PEV which kind of relates to this and it's a small module anyway!).

I'm just doing test papers today and find them fairly straight forward. The only parts I lack on is the theory part and being able to talk about them. I'm sure in the exam I could waffle on about something but I'll do a little reading later on and in the morning in the hope that's enough.

yeah it is easy to write things as long as you have a little idea of what you need.

I think the answers to the papers are somethimes not what i would write but I have to remember it is only a guide

I think after 6 hours today you should have a rest for a couple of hours, remember the exam is 3 hours, I imagine you were more focused in hour 1 and 2 of study.

    Re:pcr exam

Quite often the answers in the papers are far to 'lengthy' in terms of the written theory parts.

As you say they're a guide and to assist the examiner more than anything since I imagine the examiner compares what you've wrote to AAT's model and marks based on that.

    What does anyone know about sampling, the revision i have left for tonight is simple reading on;

    Sampling
    Zero based budgets
    Linear regression

    Paul,

Have you read the examiners guidelines on the various units? I think it's mainly aimed at lecturers but I've had a quick browse and used it to note points of revision to check through before the exam. It sometimes just prompts you to check something that's perhaps not been taken in from the text books. There's a brief note about sampling and what's required, have copy & pasted below:

"The student needs to be able to question how valid a particular statistical method is to a given problem. They will not be expected to have a detailed statistical understanding of the normal distribution, confidence levels and hypothesis testing but they will need to be aware of how valid a particular form of sampling is to a particular problem. Similarly, candidates will need to be aware of the assumptions in linear regression and recognise that it may not be appropriate for the problem they are being asked to overcome."

If you have the Osborne books there's a detailed section on sampling & linear regression. I find it best to just read it and then write out a quick summary. I doubt we'll need much knowledge of this based on the previous papers but since linear regression was covered in the AAT magazine in November who knows?!
