(Edited) How did you find Jan 07 paper? I thought it was slightly easier than the July 06 paper but that's probably because I revised for it twice. I found it hard to take the information in as some of it was a bit boring. I'm happy that this unit is over for me now and I can start the Diploma level.

My only advise on this one is to practice as many simulations as you can and work through the answers so that you can see where you are going wrong. A lot of the answers are basic and a lot of us seem to make it harder by looking for something completely irrelevant.

    I'm doing the skills test next week but no-one else seems to want to talk about this unit!

    That is because it is rubbish!! I have done it twice now (long story, really annoyed with BPP) and it is just one of the most boring subjects other than Auditing! Good luck with it! :D

    The topics covered in Unit 15 come up again in ACCA, so worth paying attention!

    That has made me laugh! I'm BPP too, what was your problem?

    I am actually resitting this on Jan 22nd. I am studyinging the Diploma so I have sit this during the intermediate stage. I found that study material didn't have enough in it and I got stuck on a ratio that I never been made aware of amongst other things. Sorry, I can't remember what is was for those of you that haven't sat it yet. I think you have to score 100%. If you get less than 65% you have to resit a different paper. OOOP's
    I shall do my best to pass it this time!

    If anyone has any tips please let me know.

    I have sat a paper for this unit. There was a lot of writing for this and I must say you need to cover everything in the unit as there is no telling what they will drop in. Trying too write about something you decided to skip might just end up being your down fall. Even if you skim read a few parts at least if it comes up you have a small chance of putting down a few points.

    Also, in some of the questions you may get by with using common sense and own experiences.

    The paper I sat (as far as I can remember ) was 100% written.

    I did it through distance learning so I tried to cover everything.

    It is worth making sure you learn the syllabus properly though, I was not going any further after Intermediate and now I have started studying for CIMA!!
