Were we actually meant to be able to see the exam paper after sunset or would it turn into a gremlin

I look my FRA exam on Wednedsay at Loftus Road Stadium and how disgusting is this????
First, we were told that we were not allowed to write anything down during the reading time, which completely contradicted what was written on the front of the exam paper.
Second, the invidulators bloody mobile phone went off half way through the exam.
Three, all be it quietly, we could here the indidulators chatting during the exam.
Four, and this is the best one. By about 4pm we could hardly see our papers because the lighting at the venue was so poor that when the evening fell outside so did the lighting level inside. We were told that we could move but when you are in the middle of an exam the last thing you want to do it start moving desks.
So is this fair or not? I suggest that anyone else who was distracted by this at the BPP London venue "Loftus Road Stadium" complains to both the AAT and BPP.
I would like to also point out that we were told that if our mobile phones went of during the exam we were likely to be thrown out.

Re:Were we actually meant to be able to see the exam paper after sunset or would it turn into a grem
It definately says on the front of the exam papers something like 'however you can begin writing in this time if you wish' about the reading time
Sounds like they wanted you to fail!0 -
turn into a gremlin
Whats the point of having 15min reading time if you're allowed to write, in essence all it means is the exam is 3h 15m...
I think it did me good to sit there and read it properly, my main weakness is rushing into a question and making daft mistakes.0 -

I had a problem with chattering invigilators too. I had two exams (ECR and FRA), it was much worse in the FRA one. I didn't do anything about it at the time, but I have just sent an email to my assessor at the centre, not worded as a complaint, but as a comment.
Same as you, they were doing that very very quiet whispering (the term is "sotto voce") but it was still really annoying. Exam conditions should mean exactly that, for everyone in the room. Especially when it's so stringent for students.
Oh and my invigilators were brought cups of tea, but none for the students. That's *really* not fair!
