Hello, was hoping someone might know the answer to this one and could help me out
Im studying with Premier training, i completed all my exams in august and ive just been finishing off my project, my tutor has emailed me to say my prokect looks find and it will be reported to the AAT in the next week. im hoping to start CIMA soon and i have until 31st January to complete my exemption stuff and register, CIMA site says i just need to have completed technician level(dont need to be a full member) but will i be ready once my project is finished or will i need to have my portfolio signed off first?
sorry for the waffling
Thank you for any help
(sorry posted in wrong forum so reposting)

Re:Project/membership/CIMA question
As far as I understand you will need to get your portfolio signed off, before you are awarded any exemptions. If it helps though, I have started studying for CIMA, but I can not take the exams in May unless I have passed my final AAT exams last week.

Re:Project/membership/CIMA question
Hi
CIMA extend the exemption (not registration) deadline for AAT students and if everything is comeplete at the relase of the results in February the AAT will forward your completion details to CIMA (providing you request this).
If you project is being signed off and details forwarded to the AAT, this will be enough for the AAT to record your completion and award your certificate etc.
