    Or there are people who offer pet sitting services who might be able to check for you? Not sure how much that would be though!

    At least you will get extra income to offset this if your lady is back at work...

    J i hate to sound mean here but Sarah has to do what she wants to do! And also plenty of people leave their dogs at home all day while they work! at least there is more than one of them to keep each other company!

    I've never heard of this law and know plenty of people who leave their dogs all day! It would be impossible to have them otherwise for many people.

    I think it is only when they are puppies that you need to worry - mainly because they might wreck the house and are still toilet training!

    You can buy food bowls which are set on a timer and open up at a set time, but most people I know feed them before work and then when they get home.

    You can get them in Argos - not too expensive. They won't die if you feed them before and after - they'll be fine! :D

    They have each other for company at least.
